Apex Microtechnology releases new application note: Amplifier Gain Error and Loop Gain Example
Apex is pleased to announce the release of a new application note that highlights an example of amplifier gain error and loop gain. This application note explains why the gain of certain AC-amplifiers is sometimes lower than expected.
The Apex Microtechnology Power Design Tool helps automate many of the calculations required when working with thermal modeling for high power linear and PWM amplifiers. There are multiple modules available that provide the ability to plot load-lines and electrical limits directly onto the Safe Operating Area; calculate internal power dissipation and heatsink requirements; dynamically select a part and assist with other key tasks involved with designing high power analog circuits.
