GNSS High Gain Low Noise Amplifier

Nisshinbo Micro Devices Inc. launched the NJG1187AKGC-A in May 2023, which conforms to AEC-Q100 Grade 2, VDA 6.3, and other automotive standards. It is targeted at Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) such as GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo.

The NJG1187AKGC-A is a high gain, low noise amplifier (LNA) designed for GNSS applications. It can be tuned to L1 (1.5 GHz) or L2/5/6 (1.1 to 1.2 GHz) bands by simply changing the value of external parts. Its wide operating temperature range of -40 to +105°C makes it suitable for automotive applications. Integrated ESD protection on each pin achieves excellent ESD robustness. The ESON6-GC package with wettable flanks is especially useful for improving the solderability and automated visual inspection of the solder joint.
