Using a high temperature plastic (UL94V-0) ensures it doesn't overheat and start to malfunction. These parts even have a copper alloy contact so it provides the quickest surge of energy. This series of Power Card Edges actually have a current rating of 12.5 A and can install additional plating. Furthermore, these parts can mate with a 1.57+-0.13mm Thick Card Edge.

Type 9302
The 9302 series for Power and Signal Edge Card Connectors can be the best addition to any technological feat you or your clients are trying to achieve. Additionally, the 9302 series connectors can mate with a 1.57+-0.10mm Thick Edge Card.
